Some Tips To Panic-Less, Picnic-Better!

  • Include dinnerware in your picnic basket if you plan on serving anything other than sandwiches and crackers; nevertheless, keep it basic; anything you can eat with your hands and don't need to reheat is the best option.

  • Because the picnic place is not usually just outside your front door, plan out your entire dinner and bring everything you'll need.

  • You don't want a warm coke on a hot day, do you? An insulated container with an ice pack should come to your mind if you want to keep something cold.

  • Bring hand sanitizer, napkins and a ziploc bag to fill up with your dirty plates and flatware after the picnic.

  • Keep a selection of crackers, spreads, dips and drinks for the kids to mix&match before they get bored, or you can just keep a box of random snacks for them to munch on throughout the trip.
