Make garlic butter: Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the half of the minced garlic and cook until fragrant and softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the dried basil and a small pinch of salt.

Make garlic cream cheese: Add the avocado oil to a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the remaining minced garlic and cook until golden brown and crunchy, about 5 minutes. Be careful not to let it burn. Transfer the cooked garlic to a paper towel-lined plate and blot to remove any excess oil.
